Feel More Like Yourself. More at Ease in Your Life.
Individual counselling for when you know something needs to change, but still find yourself caught in the same reactions, patterns or relationship difficulties.
From Feeling Stuck To Moving Forward.
Over time, the work can help you move from:
-
When you're caught in your head, even simple decisions can feel difficult. Together, we create enough clarity to help you move forward with greater confidence.
-
Rather than fighting anxiety, we slow things down, understand what's driving it and create more space before it takes over.
-
Small shifts in awareness often create surprising momentum. The goal isn't to have everything figured out, but to begin moving in a direction that feels more aligned.
-
Move away from constantly questioning yourself and begin trusting your own judgement with greater confidence.
-
Recognise what's happening before the reaction takes over, creating more space to choose how you respond.
WHO IS THIS FOR
For Thoughtful People Who Are Ready to Look a Little Deeper.
This work may be a good fit if you:
→ Are self-aware and genuinely curious about yourself
→ Have tried to work things out on your own
→ Want more than advice or reassurance
→ Are willing to look honestly at your own patterns
→ Want meaningful change rather than a quick fix
→ Are prepared to actively engage with the process
You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin.

“During my time with Uri, I experienced a gentle journey towards healing. Uri provided a safe space backed by years of experience and had a way of getting to the core without "ruffling the feathers"—exactly what I needed for this healing journey. The plethora of coaching tools that Uri offers is vast; it seemed to me that he has a great tool for every circumstance and is highly adept at choosing the right one for each situation. I gained valuable insights into dealing with my relationships, both professional and personal. I ended the coaching with a deep sense of gratitude and growth.”

“Uri is good at what he does. I’ve been caught up in months maybe even a couple of years of deep, deep pain and negativity about the world. But he has managed to bring his grounded and gentle space holding as a powerful disruptor to my deep, and what I thought was intractable, funk such that it seems really to have moved on. I’m hoping so however I know where to go if it comes back. Plus he’s reminded me of certain tools at my disposal. He is also wise and caring and seems to know precisely when to intervene and when to let things flow. I don’t think all practitioners, or even many practitioners are in impeccable service to the light, but my experience is that Uri is. Bless 🙏”

Depth, Without Losing Sight of Real Life.
There are many approaches to counselling. What matters is finding one that helps you make sense of your experience and actually use that understanding outside the session.
Pattern-focused thinking
Looking beneath the presenting issue to understand what keeps repeating.
Trauma-informed practice
Understanding reactions and protective strategies in the context of your experiences.
Responsibility without blame
Looking honestly at your part in a pattern without turning that awareness into shame.
Structure and direction
Keeping the work purposeful so you can see what you are working towards.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Individual Counselling, with a Clear Place to Begin.
-
Previous therapy or personal development can give you valuable insight. This work places particular attention on what happens in real time, so understanding can become a different response rather than remaining something you know intellectually.
-
That's okay. You don't need to arrive with a diagnosis or a perfectly articulated problem. The Clarity Call is a chance to talk through what has been happening and determine whether counselling could be useful.
-
There is no predetermined number of sessions that applies to everyone. The appropriate length of counselling depends on what you are working through, your circumstances and what you want to achieve.
The work is intended to be purposeful rather than therapy for therapy's sake.
-
Yes. Individual counselling focuses on your own experience, patterns, reactions and relationships. You do not need your partner to participate in order to explore your own side of a relationship dynamic.
-
Yes. Individual counselling is available online across Australia. In-person sessions are also available in the Northern Rivers / Byron Bay region.
-
The best place to start is a complimentary 15-minute Clarity Call. It gives you an opportunity to explain what is happening, ask questions and get a sense of whether Uri's approach and experience are suited to what you are looking for.
-
Yes. Uri works with people across different sexual orientations and gender identities. Your identity and lived experience are respected as part of the context you bring to counselling, without making assumptions about what your experience should look like.
If your needs fall outside the scope of the practice, the aim is to help you identify a more suitable form of support.
